Those skull images gave me a little jolt. We were two different species--races. And constantly at war with each other. Strangely enough it has to be called racism, given that there were two races and they were fighting. Weird to think, and not applicable to us now.

I wasn't aware that Neanderthals were still around almost up to modern times. Too bad they're gone, though I've heard that some of us have some Neanderthal roots. I'd make a joke about that except it sounds like the Neanderthals were, if not our equals, then a sort of equivalent.
