The English teacher told the students to write sentences with repeating words. Like a contest. She suggested the word ‘had.’

So John and Jane got to work writing. After an hour they presented their best to the teacher.

John, while Jane had had ‘had,’ had had ‘had had.’ ‘Had had’ had had a better effect on the teacher.

That’s 11 repetitions yet still grammatically correct English.

John and Jane did okay, but it was their son Fred who was the real winner.
