Not An Article
But an interesting use of Medium’s search engine.

I like variety, which Medium mathematically has to have. But their little stupid A.I. routines try to keep me in a rut as far as what I read. Good luck with that, Medium.
I’ve been working on a draft about parenthood, my parents, your parents, and the separate life of a child. Sometimes I use a search engine to get some ideas, and this time I used Medium’s little magnifying glass.
I’ve had good luck with this feature in the past, but this time I hit the jackpot. I’ll ask you to put in the same search string I used. You’ll be surprised.
Type in, “not my parent’s child” no quotes.
Take a look! This is fun, and one of my best successes.
Anyway, this is not an article or essay. It’s just a thought. Other writers and readers have enjoyed my tips about how to manipulate Medium’s functions, or to do Boolean searches on other search engines.
The draft I started will come out probably tomorrow. I have quite a few (hundred) articles in the pipeline, and I am really enjoying my writing these days. Apparently a few other people enjoy them too.
