First time I ever saw him look happy . . . By Neanderthal-Museum, Mettmann — Pressebilder Neanderthal Museum, Mettmann, https://www.neanderthal.de/de/urmenschen.html, CC BY-SA 4.0, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=94895244

In the beginning, and now in the end, that’s all that Trump has ever been: an actor in his own show. He may not be bright, but he sure is persistent.

Everything Trump Does or Says is a Fiction

He wrongfoots everybody — his supporters, his enemies, even himself.

Oedipus, approximately the Greek for “wrongfoot,” perhaps played by a young Trump? . . . By Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres — Walters Art Museum: Home page Info about artwork, Public Domain, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=18783499

The big problem is, he’s so spontaneous and so dumb, he occasionally, accidentally, says or does something that’s profoundly true and correct.

Donald Trump’s Covid-19 Recommendations . . .

Don’t worry, we’ll get herd mentality and it’ll just go away — just be gone one day. . . . Photo by K. Mitch Hodge on Unsplash

And please, let’s not even get close to talking about a conspiracy theory or two that he accidentally got right too!
