An Open Letter to All People Seeking Freedom
I left the land of the free and home of the brave, and found true freedom in Panama.

Dear Reader,
Freedom cannot be forcefully imposed by a government. Freedom comes from having a minimum of government, or no government at all. We need to not have government regulations because they are stifling. We have dreams and we need room to bring those dreams to fruition. If our dreams and accomplishments are to be judged, let the evaluation be done by our families or our society, and not by entities.

Two years ago I was living in the U.S, and was finding myself entangled in make-work created by government and corporations. It felt like they were trying to keep me — us — too busy to step back and evaluate our lives and degrees of freedom.
I moved to Panama because I knew that the climate crisis was not really much affecting the Pacific coast near Las Tablas. I didn’t anticipate that I would find the pure freedom that I’ve found here. I feel so blessed that I will finish out my remaining months or years in a country with no apparent rules other than those implicit in the society here. I know that there’s a government here but I sure don’t feel it or feel constrained by it.

If you want to visit Panama that’s easily done. There are embassies or consulates in the U.S. and most likely in other countries too.
If you think you want to move here, to experience the freedom that I’ve found, feel free to email me with any questions you have.
